Shikshya AI (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Shikshya platform at shikshya.ai. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our AI Agent IDE service.
We collect information you provide directly: your name, email address, and payment details when you create an account or subscribe to a plan. We also collect usage data including projects you create, prompts you submit, and interactions with the IDE. When you authenticate via Google or GitHub OAuth, we receive your public profile information and email address from those providers.
We use your information to provide and improve the Shikshya platform, process transactions, send transactional emails (account verification, password resets, billing receipts), and communicate product updates. We use usage data in aggregate to improve code generation quality and platform reliability. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Projects you generate through Shikshya are stored securely and associated with your account. We do not use your project code to train AI models. Your code is transmitted to third-party AI providers (Anthropic) for generation and analysis purposes only, subject to their respective privacy policies and data processing agreements. Generated code is yours — you retain full ownership of all output produced by the platform.
Your data is stored on Google Cloud Platform infrastructure in the United States. We use encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest. Access to production systems is restricted and audited. Terminal sessions run in isolated, sandboxed containers that are destroyed after use.
We use the following third-party services: Anthropic (AI generation), Google Cloud Platform (hosting and storage), Stripe (payment processing), Vercel (frontend hosting), Sentry (error monitoring), and Google/GitHub (OAuth authentication). Each service has its own privacy policy governing their handling of your data.
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Analytics data is collected via Sentry for error monitoring and performance purposes only.
You may access, update, or delete your account and associated data at any time through your account settings. To request a complete data export or deletion, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond to verified requests within 30 days.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Project data is retained until you delete it or close your account. After account deletion, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., billing records).
