Terms of Service

Last updated: May 16, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Shikshya (the “Service”), operated by Shikshya AI, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including free and paid subscribers.

2. Description of Service

Shikshya is an AI-powered software development platform that generates, edits, previews, and deploys full-stack applications from natural language descriptions. The Service includes code generation, an in-browser IDE, terminal access, project preview, and related developer tools.

3. Accounts

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and promptly update it if it changes. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Ownership of Generated Code

You own all code and content generated through the Service using your prompts. Shikshya AI Nature Lab claims no ownership over your generated projects. You are free to use, modify, distribute, and commercialize any output produced by Shikshya. However, you are solely responsible for reviewing generated code for correctness, security, and compliance before deploying it to production.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to: generate malicious software, malware, or code designed to harm systems or users; attempt to circumvent platform security or access other users' data; use the terminal or sandbox environments to attack external systems; generate content that violates applicable laws or regulations; resell or redistribute the Service without authorization; or deliberately exhaust platform resources.

6. Subscription and Billing

Shikshya offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe. Each tier includes a specific number of generation credits per month. Unused credits do not roll over. You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are issued at our discretion for the current billing period only.

7. Sandbox and Terminal Usage

Terminal sessions run in isolated, sandboxed containers with limited resources and a maximum duration of one hour. Sandbox containers are ephemeral and destroyed after disconnection. You must not attempt to escape the sandbox environment, access the underlying infrastructure, or use sandbox resources for cryptocurrency mining or other resource-intensive activities unrelated to development.

8. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Code generated by Shikshya is produced by AI models and may contain errors, security vulnerabilities, or inappropriate patterns. The Service is a development tool, not a replacement for professional code review. You are responsible for testing, reviewing, and validating all generated code before use in production. Shikshya AI is not liable for issues arising from the use of generated code.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or due to circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any losses resulting from service interruptions.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shikshya AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11. Intellectual Property

The Shikshya platform, including its design, code, AI pipelines, and documentation, is the intellectual property of Shikshya AI. You may not copy, modify, or reverse engineer the platform itself. This does not restrict your rights to code you generate using the platform.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. You may close your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will retain your data for 30 days after account closure to allow for recovery, after which it will be permanently deleted.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with updated terms, you may close your account.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of San Francisco County, California.
